We’re looking for a part-time remote marketing coordinator or marketing assistant to join our tight-knit team of e-commerce wildlife enthusiasts in their efforts to build the best brand. The ideal candidate is adept at coordinating and implementing marketing communication projects with responsibilities in social media, email, SMS, public relations, search marketing, advertising, and brand promotion. Experience in e-commerce marketing, Klayvio, Shopify and Canva a plus.


Compensation:

$15 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:

Develop branded marketing materials such as social posts, blogs, and web copy that is professional and well-written

Regularly update social media and respond to followers

Support our marketing department in executing campaign plans through communication, digital, and advertising strategies

Oversee website, mailing lists, analytics, and SEO to ensure content is regularly updated with the most recent information

Deliver reports on monthly analytics across web and social platforms and advise on improvements

Qualifications:

Experience with social media platforms, CRM, CSM, and public relations

Must exhibit strong understanding of latest marketing trends

Should be an experienced communicator with solid project management skills

2 or more years of experience in advertising and marketing environments preferred

AA or BA in Marketing or equivalent work experience preferred

As a Social Marketing Strategy Coordinator, you will be part of the global marketing strategy team, developing compelling social marketing strategies for Disney Consumer Products, and Publishing's (CPGP) commercial priorities. As a social-first storyteller, you will help shape and implement plans that connect with consumers in inspiring ways, across platforms.


You will work with favorite franchises such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pixar and Disney Princess, and unique product-focused handles such as Disney nuiMOs. Responsibilities:


Support the daily management of CP Marketing socials, including:

Help manage social calendars and photo folders in collaboration with social agencies

Maintain invoice tracker and submit incoming invoices to finance for payment

Maintain quality control of social pages

Assist the team by building program recap decks in Keynote, collaborating with several teams for recap materials

Assist the team in the development of creative brief and planning documents

Help implement social media strategy

Prepare documents and materials for internal / agency meetings

Occasional help with the creation and editing of written, video and photo content

Keep up with technologies used in social media and seek proactive knowledge of the target customer, retail, marketing, and social media trends

Qualifications:


2+ years of social marketing experience, preferred in consumer products

Command of social media platforms (Including: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) with an interest in best practices, trends, and cross-channel tactics

Working knowledge of social media measurements, strategy and reporting

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop

Creative production skills with an ability to create social content
